MY PREFACE THE EPIPHANY

     My preface is based on growing up in environment that is barley suitable for you. in this 

case a black kid in the inner city of a semi major populated black city in the 1960's. yeah the 

60's. it not all fun like you think. but there is so an air of change and hope in the the air with 

civil right's movement and the women's right to vote. yes change is in the air, and much blood

shed as well. 

     okay, that being said to start off that base the base line or background is a kind is a single 

black boy nine or ten growing up in the inner city with know brothers or sisters raised by

mother and grandmother trying to get by in a roe-home house. hard times for sure. the scene.

is looked at through the eyes of the boy in a third party sense. he is learning his on way in life

his path (DO).

        A STORY;

I  was watching tv so I got up early Sunday morning before grandma make me go to church & decided I wanted to make this slingshot like they was making on tv. they showed how David killed goliath the giant and different kinds of slingshots over time.) I took my dog to little park up the street where they had these concrete tube for kids to crawl thru and play. The play area was full of liquor bottles so I sat one up one end of a tube and stepped off i guess about. fifteen or sixteen feet. I found I found a nice inch and 1/4 stone. Aimed and shot. What happened next to me was nothing less than my epiphany.

my eyes were open to a whole new way of see the world around me. As I watch the stone hit the bottle dead center of the belly of the glass almost in slow motion I saw spider cracks form then almost a millisecond after it exploded! neck and all. 

I was aww struck that the little stone unleased that amount of energy and destruction. I had to learn more.

     The very first rule you must learn from the cradle to the grave is the law of and rules of 

survival. There are many rules and rituals for many tribe and mankind in general. I am not

one to shove my faith down anybody's throat. These are just some some things I have 

picked up in sixty three years of life thank you Jesus that may help someone else on the 

path.

   Many of these principle boil down to nature or nurture, very base things. thing that are 

taught or learned at a very young age if your lucky. If not so lucky you will find eternity

very fast. My grandmother used to warn me of this daily. She gave me much wisdom as

a child daily. I'm glad I listen as I attended to her. 

      The best place to learn stuff in the city is like any like a jungle. The have meeting spots

as well. People have them every where to all you have to is pick one and just try to fit in

and you will learn much about yourself as well as others. don't be afraid to test yourself

 but know your limits and how far to go.

That is your your real first assessment to study your own self. To take a self assessment, 

your strength and weakness's good and bad. don't lie to yourself it will catch up to you

in the end. Then you can start taking baby steps on the path on the path.

     On the following pages there will be a list of simple quotes. Everyone one has statements

or things they drive them or they follow. Principle that guide them. these are just are few 

that have carried me in truly dramatic times. I know you have heard a few but I still want

share the insight of it with you so that you may pass it on to someone else because that is the

the part of the true nature of this journey, to pass on what we learn and comprehend to 

others for their benefit. That is how we leave our mark in this time and space.

    Many people think it takes major a major injection of something to make a difference  in

their life like money, or going plastic surgeon to look younger when it really is the small 

step by step changes that you put in place in your life to steer the course of your ship. just

think. A giant battle ship that transports hundreds of soldiers and equipment and explosives

is maneuvered by several smaller flaps at the rear called rudders which cause the ship to

turn from side to side and up and down. It is not always the major things in life that grab 

the center of attraction but the small subtle changes that you can implement that will change

your future completely.
